Quickly create Windows icons or scale images

All of us do spend a huge chunk of our day sitting in front of the computer staring at our desktop.

Our eyes have gone weary seeing the icons of my documents and my computer again and again.

Wouldn't it be nice to give the icons a personal touch?
Maybe put a picture of your idol or some cool picture.

Imagicon helps you to do just that. You can convert any image into an icon.
Now how cool is that?

The image has to be in BMP, JPG, PNG or ICO format. It is wonderful compact program. You can select any image and save it as an icon in all of the different sizes: 16×16, 32×32, 48×48, and 64×64. You can also design website logos with this program. You can even modify the images with the basic operations like scaling, flipping it horizontally or vertically. You can even save the icon with alpha transparency and image as an icon, or convert between any of the three formats: PNG, JPG, or BMP.

Working with the program is very simple. All you have to do is configure your desired settings and then drag the image to colored area.
imagicon

Automatically it converts the picture into an icon of 32×32 and stores it in the same folder as the original image.

You can modify the settings by clicking on the Options menu. Icon Settings helps you to pick your icon size.
Image Transform helps you to hand pick the transformations if you are converting between picture formats (JPG to PNG).

Hence if all you want to do is scale a bunch of images, then in Save Mode choose JPEG and choose the settings that you wish for the image transformation.

Save Mode helps you to choose the appropriate format of the final image.
Save Directory helps to store the pictures at some other location other than the directory where the original images are located. lastly, you can customize ImagIcon itself by choosing different colors and by loading in your own custom image for the background!
