Ever spent hours searching the right picture to speak the thousand thoughts lingering in your head? Ever found creating the right look for your Office document more cumbersome than writing it? If yes, then you are reading the line that will lead you to the perfect solution of how you can search, copy, paste and smile - all within a few seconds before you know it!
One of the basic ways to search and insert high-resolution stock photographs, clip arts, GIF animations and other graphics is through the Office Online website. This excellent resource can be accessed by two ways:
1.Pick and put in basket method using the site http://office.microsoft.com/clipart and downloading the selected items onto your hard-disk so you never have to search for them on-site again.
2.Use insert menu --> clip art command which is available in all Microsoft Office programs.
Another fantastic resource is the Google Images collection which is much vast than the Microsoft gallery we discussed above. Although widening your choices to a few billion images, you will have to be careful about using data which is under the Public Domain or a Creative Commons License, unlike Office Online which is free and void of any licensing issues.

Now comes the best option, that is to use the OffiSync (free plug-in) which lets you open Google Documents in Microsoft Office and also import images into your Office files from Google . OffiSync has an easy to use interface much similar to the built-in Clip Art gallery search. Offisync also provides you with a quick access Google Search option for your Office Toolbar so you can search and insert instantly.
Although OffiSync officially works only with Google Image Search, heres a trick that will help you use it for any other photo resource website :- Use the site: operator with your search query. For e.g. use site: flickr.com will limit the display of photos from flickr only.

What about webpage screen shots? Well OffiSync to the rescue again. Just follow the steps below:-
- 1.Use the web search feature to invoke the built-in web browser
- 2.Type the full URL of the website in the Address bar (or use Google Search to find that website) and Clip.
- 3.Drag the marquee around the area that you want to capture hit the Insert button. (Simpler than it sounds here, trust me ! )
