Thanks for responding. I tried Songbird and didn't care for it. It just didn't yank my crank. If a better player combo than Real Player were to emerge- or, god forbid, a new version of Real Player itself without the codec tics- I'd use it, but for the time being Real Player works best for what I use it for.

That being said, VLC Player gets ALL my video business. That app is damn near flawless.
